  1. When you try to merge vertexes in the middle area of the book's cover Maya doesnt recognize the right way…I tried one by one and it worked but not if you have selected all vertexes in row. Maybe it is a bug or something else
P.s. this is a little advice for those who don't know why merge didnt work in the video. Tested on 2k18 Maya version and still not fixed xD

  2. I've been learning Maya for just one week now but I've found your tutorials and they are fantastic. Really easy to follow.. I started with the lemon that gets sliced in half, then the lightbulb which was tricky for my extreme beginner level and then the marble. Now I'm going to this one and certainly no ads will be skipped. Thank you for taking the time to make them!

  3. Did you heard about Animate That?
Animate that! is an essential animation book for beginners, non software specific, that explains the principles of animation in depth, showing their importance and how to use them. This book will show you how to approach and learn them in the most clear and understandable way. Inside you will find many tips, examples and drawings that makes it very easy for every beginner to start with animation. Even for an intermediate, this book will be a great tool for the revision of knowledge already acquired.
