Maya Tutorial – How To Render 360 Degree Spherical Renders For YouTube and Virtual Reality

In this Autodesk Maya 2017 tutorial I will show you how to render 360 degree spherical renders from Maya 2017. I will also explain how you can add a camera move using After Effects as well as injecting 360 metadata so that you can upload your render to YouTube and Facebook to enable 360 degree viewing.

  1. Great job, thank you! Here is my question: Why would I get a blurry scene after rendering .avi or .mp4 in AE, although all sets are to the max? The video is not even close to the quality of an image from the PNG/TIFF sequence. Thank a lot!

  2. As someone who's not very experienced with After Effects, can you use the same method to make video render with action going on VR by using the same method but putting the video render instead of the jpeg render in After Effects?

  3. Bro please help me….
I what to create 360 video, & i know maya 2016 (I can't upgrade to maya 2017, because my computer have low specification)
So I can design scenes in maya 2016, but to make that in 360 view is there any other software available?

Please prefer me a best software to make the scene which is designed in maya 2016 to make it 360 camera view
