  1. Why not just use Maya? Why is there even a Maya LT. I get that LT was made for game developers but Maya can also be used for games. I don't see the point in having two different pieces of software other than Autodesk gets to make more money!

  2. hello was great tutorial , can any body please help ,,
at 48:20 we did export model to unity by clicking send to unity but ,can't we create scene into 3ds max or maya and animate model there ? 1 more question is i found some cgi movie where grass or flag is like animating in air leaves are flowing into air what about that kind of scene and putting model into it and then animating it ? can some buddy guid me please thank you.

  4. Impressive video, you took a drawn sheet of your character design. And turned him into a 3D character with "rigging" through his whole design no-less. informative video, never mind the haters (where's their work by comparisons?). thumbs up!

  5. Hello Instructor – Very nice over view. Where can I find the complete tutorial to this model or full tutorial? You're displaying through these examples that's missing out there in tutorial on this very subject. What if we offered to pay for this full lessons no steps left out??? Is there a way to contact you?

  6. I want to make an indie game and I have some questions. Didn't OpenGL deprecate quads? Should they be converted to trigs afterwards or something? What kind of deformations happen? What are the specific advantages of Maya LT over Blender3D for devs not using Unity?

  7. I'm using Maya and can't use the modeling toolkit. It shows up grey and won't let me click it. What's wrong?

Also every time I click on an object in edge or vertex mode it appears as a yellow to red gradient along the edges lines and vertices. This is making it very difficult for me to see what I'm doing.

    Thanks.
