What I want this guy to teach us is how he creased that weapon and smoothed it I cannot do that for crap!

Autodesk, we don't need a lot of different tools anymore, we need a single modeling tool with every function available through shortcuts.
Both Quad Draw and Multi-Cut are a good start, but we need immediate component merge outside of quad draw. Also, quad draw stops detecting quads when there's retopologized geometry on the other side, and in those cases one is forced to use the old Append to Polygon, which works fine but it cannot merge to vertices so you have to go back and forth, this is an enormous waste of time.
You did a great job with the new bevel algorythm and you're going in the right direction I believe.you will implement new workflow options, because as now the software is still too slow.
Horrible interface, too many clicks and fiddling to get the job done. This software is old and it's showing.
this is maya 2016 not 2015
Hi I'm using Maya 2014 and the Multi-cut tool is not behaving the same way as in you're video. When I try to make a random cut in my cube and press enter it doe's nothing but it selects. The edges? for some reason please help me. And the cut does not show up on my cube?

Why are 3ds max and maya still two separate programs? Can someone explain to me why we need both? You would think they would be consolidated into one with all of the best features taken from each.
Autodesk Maya 2015 Trial, is not installing on my PC Windows 8.1,
I says it does well, but folder that i should have filled in Gigabytes, is about 40mb,
The problem is unknown, if anyone has anything to share about this issue please let me know
I don't know why I cant active symmetry ?? Every time I get a same error (drInit.mel line 4406: Mesh is not symmetrical around the selected edge)?? any idea ???
Right from the very beginning… with all those horrible boolean operations in the muzzle. Is that allowed? That's making N-gons… which is a big no? Am I wrong?
I'm sorry but most of these changes are shit. Maya sucks at modelling and looks to continue in that tradition. Can you guys please merge 3ds max and Maya already?
My main concern with the boolean function is the topology. How do you make the topology functional once you've booleaned?
