  1. Hello Daryl. I got a question about rendering XGen, please educate me. Every time I render XGen file I got this dialog “ Exporting XGen collections… Done.” This takes long time to complete the rendering. Is there anyway to speed this up? Or this is an inevitable issue? Thank you very much^^

  2. XGEN was written by basement rat scripters at disney who have zero experience in artistic workflow.

And you can see it clearly with all the expressions and variable crap all over the place.

  3. so many work arounds and copy and pasting of text fields and little tricks to substitute maps. im sure xgen is powerful but i have zero interest in learning al those quirks and workflow problems. what a frkn nigthmare.

  4. when dragging the vertices for shaping the guides, only vertices move separated from the guides , it's like they aren't attached to each other! I might have changed settings but have tried reloading the xgen plugin and reinstalling Maya a few times but problem is still there.any suggestions?

  5. I did the same thing so many times and it's not working, I am making a longer hair the guides are fine but once I click the little eye to preview the hair is a straight line and doesn't follow the lines thats been created inside the hair tubes.
     any suggestions are welcome.

  6. Oh my lord, the mouth noises. Why is it so difficult to record proper audio? I literally can't watch this… at least with audio on. It's making me sick. :/ Also, please try to cut the fat out a bit. The intro doesn't need to be 1:20. Just start doing stuff! Yes, yes, thank you for watching the video NOBODY CARES. It's taking too long. I want to see stuff happening. If you hit a point in the video where you don't need to narrate what you're doing, you can start to fill in your life story and how thankful you are of all your subscribers and whatever. Ugh, sorry about the harsh tone. It's just that I've been looking for proper videos for a long time and nobody seems to have any idea as to what they're doing. Check out blender guru. Proper videos!
