Constructive comments / critique are always welcome. This is my first tutorial, I expect to improve a lot over time.
Part2 is about how to add the tread, and how to deform the wheel to show the weight of the vehicle (can be animated):
Thanks for watching.

Was hard to watch whit the nif tool you coult go streat tru, end if the circle was aplane you could snap on it, well i'm a perfectionist, good tut after all
Fantastic tutorial Zoltan! Way to go. My only suggestion would be, when adding a cylinder, always say what kind of end-cap you are using (N-gon, fan, or none). That way the follower doesn't have to guess at it. But thank you a ton for this well-made and easy to follow video series. Looking forward to the tread.
Hi, nice tutorial! But please, how do i "duplicate or extrude at 3d cursor" with the edge select and it is created with another angulation? 3:50
i'm using blender v2.78.
i wont be disappointed even if i did not get what you are doing…
because you are smart as fuck man
😀 What a brilliant tutorial 😀 keep it up (y)
tutorial not complete you didn't teach us how to do the cross section
Hello, I have a quick question. At 11:15 you snapped all the points together how do you do that? I am wondering because all I see is G, and all that does for me is move the point/vertex. So I am wondering what else do I need to push to get it to snap.
Thank you bro…
ok so ya that did the trick now my issue is with the subdivide. how do i get it to subdivide into that rounded shape that you use to shape the tire itself? when i keep hitting subdivide it just keeps dividing the four cross cuts
ok so im really new to blender and know this isnt really the best 1st project to attempt but hey so what right lol ok well im hung up on a part right around 1:20 after you scale the plane you hit scale and rotate and then add some details. well when i do that it doesnt divide the section like it looked in your model i also tried the subdivide and it split it into 4 squares instead of 4 rectangles. so ya how do i get the rubber to take form like you did with that grid insert that you had to help form the curve of the rubber?
You should really increase the frame-rate on your screen recorder, it's a bit choppy. Other than that, great tutorial!
Why Dont u explain it clearly like fist of all I don't konw what version of blender your using
You could have made the holes with the boolean modifier o.O. It would have been simple
At 4.00 when you click and the mesh follows. How do you do that? It would help alot.
