  1. What's funny is that the top instructors can join forces and actually create their own Udemy and school. Colt, Max, Brad, Stephen, Andrei, and Andrew.

  2. Hey Colt, I love all your courses- what I don't love so much is that they're usually abandoned – instructorless after a couple weeks or months. This JavaScript course is great, I love it. But none of our questions are being answered. And that's a problem, because the content is only a part of it. The community and support and updates is another. I love your work, and this in no means is intended as a hate comment – but it certainly is something you should address.

  3. Hi Colt @Colt Steele
I am currently learning from you with the web dev boot camp on udemy.
It was great and very fruitful learning from you!
I understand that learning never stops and now I wonder what I should learn to further enhance my skill in web development to, let's say, start up my own web business( web E comm Platform) and blog

Would you mind giving me some suggestions on which course I should learn next??

  4. Is this course for total beginners…and does it go from simple to hard in no time or properly ramp up to more advanced subjects. I have a viewed a couple of udemy courses and for some reason get the balance really wrong when (not properly) explaining the harder subjects. Many thanks, steve.

  5. Wow this looks amazing! Thank you so much 🙂 I am still busy with the first JavaScript course and have added this to my wishlist. Thank you so much for taking the time to teach us, you are very appreciated! From South Africa 🙂

  6. Great content, I'm sure! Two great instructors joining forces 🙂
    Just started it.
A big thank you to Colt! I learn so much from your courses. Your courses are actually some of the solid resources that helped me become a developer, although I had no prior experience, whatsoever.

  7. Hey Colt I recently took your web developer boot camp and that I have reached the backend section I have to use c9 ide which has shutdown and also requires bill payment for signing up… plz tell me what can I do to follow along the course coz I have no idea of setting anything lyk express or node locally…plz help… waiting for reply!

  8. Good timing Colt. I'm just about done with the web developer bootcamp and I needed a great JavaScript course to up my JS coding skills. Saw your ad on YouTube, and boom, got it before the ad was over, you are a great teacher my friend.

  9. Hi Colt,
I bought your "The Web Developer Bootcamp" course on Udemy and I learned so many things from it, appreciate it. I'm still watching it, couldn't get the Javascript part yet. So should I also buy this "new brand" course? What's the difference between this course and that.

    Thank you

  10. Already bought it. It's modern(!) with tonnes of serious and useful things though it's simple and humorous (important feature 🙂 ). On the whole the course is amazing! Colt and Stephen are on the top of education as usual 🙂

  11. I'm a bit disappointed with the course. It's good, and it covers a lot, but it lacks any exercises in the javascript portion. It's more of a reference than an actual course. (The javascript portion)

Udemy allows instructors to write actual code challenges, but hardly any teachers are taking advantage of that which is a waste. I think a lot of Udemy instructors could learn a ton about teaching from Tim Buchalca in terms of structuring a course to give students actual stuff to do, instead of leaving it to the student to figure out how to practice each concept.

  12. Kind of crazy how hard it was to find on the Udemy site- I had to check back here to find the link. Dunno if it's intentional but searches for "Colt Steele" and "Stephen Grider" return every other course, no trace of this. Dunno if you're aware but heads up!
