Great tutorial… Am just getting started with using MySQL workbench and this has been helpful. All you needed to do though was drag out that entity set and you would have viewed all the details. You got a bit nervous. Good job anyway.
In my opinion, you need to just name your tables something like id, f_name without adding the prefix which is already a table name. The beauty of this is when writing your SQL statements, It reduces unnecessary repetitions as now, you have to be like providers.provider_f_name instead of providers.f_name, Well except there is a reason behind this decision of yours, i want to know.
Thanks great tutorial, I have to ask but once you have created a number of tables how do you go into model view to setup relationships between the different tables
hello Piper Ranallo nice tutorial well explained .. mam can you please help me out if i want to create a data base for Electronic commerce application.(Thanks in advance with lots of respect)
So let me get this straight, when we make relationships between entities, they automatically make foregin keys? And when we are finished with diagram, we can do reverse engineering and make datebase?
What if I want to create relationships between tables already loaded into a schema (rather than create new tables with new variables as the demo shows)?
