is there a 3D Max version of this tutorial i am dying for it ;)….atm this removal of MENTAL ray from 3Dmax 2017 and above …..:( has killed my rendering effects shuch as glow I can only use it in standard rendering yeaaaa materials are basic and are basic…the newest renders wasite of time 🙁 take too long and I cant use lens effects thats to it using 3dmax 2018 atm at this rate i wont bother with the 2020update
Use one core and one outside, outside should be a shell and there should be distance between the inside and the shell. Make shell a mesh light with transmission. Make core have an emmissive shader with the opposite color on the color wheel to the mesh light. VERY NICE EFFECT, gives that vivid glow you get on neon lights.
