  1. Oh yes and it is cool, the hard part is learning it, I have been watching many video on it, also discovered blender has full blown video editor too! Way better then windows movie maker, not as good as after effects or premier pro pro but really when you can make your own effects in blender it doesn't matter

  2. @ThePVTWOLF Oh, and also, when you first start the cycles build of blender, you need to make sure that the factory settings are loaded as the default scene (you can find this option under the "File" menu).

  4. @PKHS95 Not a problem in the least (^^,)! You still did an exceptional job! You can do a tutorial on how the Cycles render engine handles light, especially through water and also customizing materials like velvet and specialty stuff.
    Keep up the great work!

  5. Great Video. The best part is the 'live render' view. Wow! Finally.
But yeah, it's still not quite as fast as the normal Blender render engine.
I don't know if it's accurate in theory, but my PC leans to CPU power, not memory when it comes to rendering. CPU usage shoots up to 100%, but it barely scrapes memory and I saw your PC letting you know something similar..
Does that make sense that it almost uses little memory and prefers CPU?
