Thank you!
"Enhance" does not populate as option. I have updated to Camera Raw 13.2. but right click on image doesn't bring up your options. I also click on 3 dots, but still no "Enhance"???
I've tried everything, even exported from jpg to dng but mine still says: "enhance details cannot be applied to the select photo".
Can anyone help me please?
Roll on the Lightroom version – hope it comes soon!
i was about to ask q question, but you dont seem to reply to no one lol
How do you save the enhanced imag as a JPEG without reverting back to the original cropped size. For instance, I heavely crop an image in lightroom, export it as a JPEG and the resulting image size is 1.9 MB. I enhance it in Photoshop and export as a DNG, file size 59 MB. How can I convert the new DNG to a JPEG without losing size/image quality. If that makes sense. Thank you.
Thanks Anthony. I had a little hard time figuring out how to save the enhanced image. i slept on it and thought about it and figured it out. Next i tried to enhance my practice image again. Photoshop will NOT allow this.
Yeah this option simply isn't there. I'm updated as of 3 days ago. There is no enhance feature inside my version of Camera Raw
Anthony, do you have an answer for those of us who, even with the latest version of ACR, do not see this feature?
so I got a question, what's better: first make your edits in for example Lightroom and photoshop and get your picture done and THEN let it upscale via bridge. Or first upscale the picture and then make your adjustments in Lightroom and Photoshop?
Welcomed your advice on usage with a tiff, jpg and raw files. I attempted to use this with a photoshop file with luck.
That you could not get a decent print larger than 8×10 from a 6.6MP file is positively BS…
Adobe Camera Raw is not showing super resolution when I try to open jpg file. I have the updated version of Adobe Photoshop CC 2021 and also newest Camera Raw update? I did a right click on my images and the drop down window did not show Enhanced mode? O.K. I figured it out. The image needs to be opened from Adobe Bridge's file menu in order to show this feature. It does not open directly from Photoshop.
Thank you Anthony, I had forgotten about enhance in photoshop.
hmm, I don't get the option to enhance JPG images, only RAW files.
Have you tried running it through a second time ?
Also would be interesting to see how in works in combination with TaPaz noice reduction to further clean and sharpen image
Hey Anthony: when I bring the enhanced image back into Lightroom and press "C" to compare to the base image that I enhanced, I can't compare them directly. In the Compare side-by-side panels, the Enhanced DNG look blurry and there's text at the bottom right that says "Embedded Preview." Is there a way to compare them apples to apples?
I have Camera Raw 13.2, and there is no "Enhance…" option for me.
Interesting – works with RAW files, but I do not get the option in Camera Raw with JPG's. Agree gigapixel is better – at a cost.
Anthony … does an image have to be in a .DNG file for it to be "converted" to CR so that the Enhance/Super Resolution effect to work?
At this time I feel gigapixel is far superior, but I'm sure adobe will improve the function as time goes by!
It is a great feature. As you say – cant wait for it to be added to Lightroom.
Topaz is better, I see how Adobe try to compete against Luminar AI and Topaz now… it's tough but it's for the better for us
It does not work . I have two computers and on both it freezes the camera raw or at the end it opens a window saying the DNG file could not created
