One Simple Tip to Easily Improve Your Gimbal Shots



Gimbals are great tools to help you in your video work for smoother motion shots. Sometimes they can be a bit tricky to use and you may not get super smooths results like you were hoping to. Here’s one tip how to improve your gimbal shots, and it’s not how you hold or even move with your gimbal. 

If your gimbal shots are pretty smooth but not as smooth as you would like, here’s one tip from Daniel Schiffer that will help you improve those gimbal shots and it all comes down to what frame rate you are shooting in. It’s a really simple tip and can help smooth out those little jerks in your footage versus trying to use wrap stabilization or other methods which cropped your footage in order to reduce camera shake. It’s as simple as shooting in 30 fps and slowing it down a tad which he tells you the suggested speed in the video. Schiffer also uses this tip for shooting in low light situations and explains why it benefits him.
