  1. instead of creating all creases manually , isnt it simple to wrap a cloth rightly on upper edge and then pivot on the rope start and use a cloth simulation ? i have not tried it on cloths but i had seen one tut on youtube where he used cloth simulation for curtains and it really created nice creases when starting points were pivoted.
