  1. +kolegko – He does mention that generally we should try to focus 1/3 of the distance covered by the shot. That is approximately the same as hyperfocal distance (hyperfocal distance changes as your aperture changes … you can get simple distance tables by just googling it).
     I think he is simply trying not to overcomplicate this.

  2. I got the same from this video…focus everywhere and HOPE..You do not even mentioned about hyperfocal distance..That's what you need to know to get everything in focus…
