Painting over Blender3D render using Photoshop to achieve anime style artwork. I am just using Internal Render for the background environment and colorramp toon shader for the cat. The Cat is an old model I did few months ago base on the cat in Studio Ghibli Kiki delivery service.

Like the setup with the Photoshop composition. If the colorful lighting could be animated from Photoshop in the animation panel.
