Hi, wonderful news, I wonder when this will be. Can the process be reversed so the subjects are the only items not selected eg for masking where the whole background may be changed without the subject being affected by such changes, please? If the image is sent to a plugin such as Luminar 2018, will the subjects or background be able to be worked on, with the isolated features being able to be worked on eg strands of hair, please? I look forward to your answer. Thanks and regards, Joe
YES finally!!! This is the first new feature in a long time that I'm definitely looking forward to and will use a lot!
so you can do that for video too?
Wow Waiting For Torrent !!
これで、切り抜きjp 等のサービス会社は、ほぼ死に絶えるな。お疲れ
Mark 0:47 – Does anybody know how to make color path blue like in the video, while using the pen tool? Thank you.
Meh…
When will be released the new feature?
It just like, Select — Focus Area. It also give a nice selection start :).
the end of internship in creative offices XD
WOW!!!!!!!!
This is more of a tool to use while in mask mode, stay clear normies
;_:
This reminds of when Content-Aware Fill came out and there were the videos of it making a sandwich and doing junk like auto-magic.
Because of how unbelievably easy this tool makes making selections appear I actually thought this was a spoof video from my recommended for you from YouTube.
Mistrust in high resolution images with more complicated content, just wait a while for improvement, machine learning is quick and efficient.
Awesome, hope this feature Will Land soon. This Will be a real game changer in my photo editing workflow
This looks fantastic
This is awesome! I can't wait to try it. It would come in SO handy with my Instagram photo editing!
Brilliant !
If you are impatient to get this working, try rolling your own using the "Matterport Mask-RCNN" project on github — it not only can select subjects but can give each of those volleyball players (and each dog) their own mask. It should do a decent job right out of the box, and I'll bet someone impatient and clever could build a Photoshop-integrated version in a day or two. Just sayin'
Amazing
This is awesome – I struggle a lot with photoshop and this feature will make me want to use it more. Thank you
what a world we live in
This is why I think the photoshop CC subscription is such a GREAT value!
Holy shit, that's awesome.
Wow!! Can't wait till it's available! I struggle with selecting and extracting subjects and it sure looks like the new feature will help me tremendously!
This will be even easier to do on HEIC photos that contain depth information. BTW, when HEIC format is going to be supported by Adobe tools ?
What would be incredible is if this technology is implemented in after effects for automating at least some of the manual work that rotoscoping requires. Even if it means going back and cleaning up some of the areas that it may have incorrectly made a selection it would still speed things up dramatically if it worked.
10 seconds of video at a standard frame rate of 24fps has 240 frames that need to be analyzed / masked / corrected – this could be huge if Adobe could be compelled to think beyond Photoshop.
Why does such rich company as Adobe has such shitty microphone for their pr videos?
In your example it incorrectly selects the ladies left hand and arm. Just another quick select.
1:30 omg it's @darth
Ok, it’s official, Adobe has commercialized actual magic.
Awesome
Oh my god
Indeed looks promising, guess all of the competition from ON1, Macphun and others pushed Adobe to play catch up.
Now, let's talk Lightroom where I perform 95% of my work…..
Awesome
Excellent! When? I want it NOW!!!
Nicely paced your other presenters should watch this and learn to speak slowly
PLEASE STOP MAKING PHOTOSHOP EASIER! PLEASE. All the plebs are gonna just denounce people that make this our job
