  1. Half tones have always scared me for some reason. Thought they were witchcraft. Lol
    This really opened my eyes. Thanks. Not sure why you didn't address the grid looking pattern in the picture demo. That's super distracting

  2. Well I was with you up until the Refine Edge which does not appear on my photoshop anywhere. Tried to wing it by just using the blur tool over the circle and then doing the color halftone which seems to do a photo negative effect when I try it with colors. Need help.

  3. Im doing this in CMYK mode, but when I apply the halftone my spheres are entirely uniform as they reach the bleed of the gradient, are there any particular settings I should be adjusting to get the halftone circles to change according to the transparency??

  4. When I follow the steps on a black to transparent gradient, it works perfectly. When I try them on a white to transparent gradient (to end up with white dots for use in a layer mask), they don't do anything. (I can invert the black dots, of course, but it still seems weird that the technique doesn't just work on white like it does black.)
