After 1 year of research and lots of hours and hours, i have to thank
all tutorials but it's not so easy to have a secure home webserver that works like you were paying hosting company!! I
created an image file that can be cloned to any comuter and run your
server immediately with strong firewall and millions of blocked bad ips and of course preconfigured programs that were a little bit difficulty to figure out how to do all these things!

Listen I am hasving the most extreme problems with getting it right with the port numbers in my copy of XAMPP! It says something about port no. 80 as the port f or Apache but I don't have that as my port num. Can u please help me with this?
For the ones that are having problems changing the password you can try usingthis line on the Shell [mysqladmin –user=root password "newpassword"] *Without brackets. It worked for me

wheni type into my browser 107.0.0.1 / phpmyadmin (localhost won't pull up so i have to put in 107. instead of localhost) i do not have a login , it goes straight into the thing so is that normal or what can i do to fix it?
Great Video
I was doing my graduate project and was struggling with the host setting and database, but now, problems solved:)
Ok… if you cannot access localhost, just type http://127.0.0.1:the port you set for Apache (I used 1337). Hope this helps.
