  1. when i select the b to use the brush and set the hardness to 0 it wont clear the path of the brush it will only make it lighter and more transperant. but my opacity is set to 100 even as the flow and blend mode just like the video on normal

  2. Thank you for your videos. I have your course and it has taught me so much more than the book… that was sooo tedious! I noticed your voice is different in this video. I know people say things in the comments about that but just be yourself because you are wonderful and your contribution is priceless! You are very generous to share such a great mind and all of your knowledge! Thank you 🙏

  3. Tried this but it doesn't work for me. I copy the lake but when I paste it onto the bulb nothing happens apart from in layers a black background layer appears above the lightbulb. God knows what I'm doing wrong but I've tried it several times with the same result.

  4. Wouldn't it be a bit easier to paint the lake later on to the light bulb so you can see what you're doing, instead of removing. I'm not sure how that would be accomplished, though. I'd have to play around with it.

  5. Excellent tutorial!! I had trouble with the mask, I couldn't tell where I was erasing so ended up lowering the opacity on the mask. Then I was able to finish it. I do wish that you wouldn't call selection lines "marching ants". That's very confusing to a newbie and it's old terminology from PaintShopPro. It's more professional to call it what it is. 🙂 Am new to AP and looking forward to doing more of your tutorials. Nicely paced. Being a PC user, the Command button was confusing at first but I've learned it's the CTRL button for me. Thanks again for a nice tutorial.
