Learn to make tower destruction simulations – http://bit.ly/1Mr1r2Y
Experimenting with some more realistic texturing and lighting. I’m moving away from keva planks that are orange, and towards them being more real keva / kapla plank coloured.
I used textured and volumetric lighting to make the scene more interesting, as well as HDR ambient lighting.
Song is “Fading Away” by Audial, you can find his SoundCloud at: http://bit.ly/1xlxrRn
At 4:37, there are 2 sets of information in a row without a clip for the first one. The 6048 plank building that took 18 days to render is the one at 4:57. Unfortunately I didn’t notice this until after I uploaded it.

i like the back ground
Rebuilds and destroys everything in vid to reality check everything
All I have to say is
that is so beautiful ??
Pretty cool and artistic but… not sure about the "realistic" part.. at least within the implied context 😛
Ya know, you can do the same with a few dollars worth of wood, a slow motion camera and a bowling ball. Use RealLife® plug-in for instant rendering at more than a million fps. File exporting might be a little tricky, there are people working on that.

extra thicc
the one with the twin white towers fell in an eerily similar fashion to how the WTC twin towers fell on 9/11/2001. Dunno if anyone else gets those vibes but that is true with me.
great song

Can someone tell me why it takes much more render time the 2:10 video than the 3:10, even when it has less planks? Thaks.
Why the fuck did you make all the planks bouncy? That's not realistic xDDDDD
Also, HOW THE FUCK DID YOU GET SUCH PHOTOREAL GRAPHICS? THIS LITTLE TECH DEMO HAS BETTER GRAPHICS THAN LITERALLY ANY GAME OUT IN THE EARTH RIGHT NOW.
What kind of PC do you have to have to render at 2 hours? I render at least the entire day
Just like 9/11
And now do the same in realtime, please 😉
It's 1 am and I'm watching this wtf Btw render time without any hardware information is meaningless.
Why do people always use blender nowadays it would be way more "realistic" in real life
Kinda beautiful
It looks so real
5:36 yeah what does that look like?
this is not how a real skyscraper/tall building would fall
Is like ISIS hentai?
Biem
I wanted to make some conspiracy theory jokes but everyone else beat me to it. Oh well, this stuff is just beautiful. Really–completely hypnotic. Thanks.
I was looking for a German thrash metal band and found this instead
doesn't the one with 7560 glass planks remind you of 9/11
Wow…. These renders are amazing!!!
My goodness the lighting on these is amazing! Did you do that element as well?
Jet fuel can melt steel because it's so hot and that's how the twin towers fell
I rate this video 9/11. Absolutely bombastic!
to hell with realism this is completely fake
Can anyone link me to any guides to learn how to do this? This is amazing
Its amazing how the building falls down instead of side to side. Architectures did a great job making it go down instead of falling on its side creatig more damage to other buildings and stuff
As opposed to 9/11
godzilla anyone
hello
gros con
Hey dude, some bitch called Hayden MG stole this video from you. He also stole blender physics videos from like 12 other people. Just warning you man. Great original video dude ?
so satisfying
5:58 when she's on period and you ask her something.
but jet fuel can't melt steel beams
5:50 9/11
Can you do a vid with the camera inside one of the rooms of the towers?
5:45 ;-;
wow… i'm speechless
