    any idea why my "world up objec"t text box would be grey'd out when selecting the "world up type" as "object" or "object rotation"?

    Adam this is one of the single best tutorials I've seen on youtube. Super super clear and concise. Aim constraints have haunted me for years and as you say sometimes a level of acceptable result is obtained by simply fiddling but now I see how the math is computed I reckon I can get some good results 🙂 thanks again for such such a brilliant tutorial!
    Oo one other thing do you have any good tutorials for using the hypershade menu in maya ? I've seen ppl use blend nodes and math nodes to do some clever tricks that way!

    Hi there. Any transform node should work as a target object—I assure you a locator will work in any version of Maya! Are you sure all of the other settings have been properly configured?

    useful but you forced us to wait until 0:34 to get to the point. Also, you dont say if simple locators, nurbs curves, polygon objects can be made to also work as "target objects".

    I notice in Maya 2013, using a locator as a "target object" doesn't work at all like in your video, too bad….
