In this tutorial, we’ll see how to transform an image into an Awesome Smoke Photo Effect using Adobe Photoshop. The main trick to this effect is to find a good combination with the smoke brushes and the image we’ll be using.

  1. Hello!
    If you're having trouble freezing the mask, make sure once you click on liquify filter on the right side you have the Advanced Mode checked. Then from there you freeze mask option will appear.

I wish I knew how to use Adobe Photoshop!..I loved this effect..I can see how one can do many things with this Smoke Effect!!..love it..thank you..gonna see how i can learn to use this program..so i can take my digital paintings and give it a twist!..Looks so difficult..I need a teacher!!!..lololz..gosh lets see if i can get a course of some kind…I envy u!!!!..xD

  3. Sad part about such tutorials is always the same. They are using "easy" photo with 1 color background to cut something while average peoples are trying to do the same with photos they made with "messy" backgrounds and suddenly its 10 times harder/way less precise. Whats the point of making that if you cant use your own photos? ^.^ Unless someone is getting excited of using photo of some random model from internet
