SteamOS 2.80 beta release

SteamOS 2.80 is now in beta, which brings with it some fun changes for AMD GPU users. Major changes for this update include the new RC1 AMD GPU PRO driver with Vulkan and VDPAU (Video Decode and Presentation API) support. This new AMD driver is currently only enabled for the “Bonaire” generation. It will be rolled out for others as AMD finishes up testing.

Unity 3D updated for Linux

As you might already know, Unity is a 2D and 3D game editor that helps you create games for multiple platforms. The Unity3D editor for Linux has been updated recently, bringing it up-to-date with other platforms. You can now get your hands on Unity 5.3.5f1 or 5.4.0b18 for developing games on Linux.

Atari Vault

Atari Vault is a collection of some of the most beloved arcade games of the ’70s and ’80s. Two months after its Windows release, Atari Vault is now officially available for Linux as well. Here’s what Gaming on Linux had to say about the game:
