Texturing A Simple 3d Character in Maya 2016 – Mr. H

This week I’m demonstrating a very simple UV unwrap on the bear character that I modeled last week. After I have unwrapped the UV’s in Maya I’ll bring the image into Photoshop and paint below the UV outlines to add detail to the character. Once we are done painting in Photoshop we’ll bring the image back into Maya and apply it to the 3d model.
