  1. In Camera Raw, double clicking the hand tool does not automatically fit the view to your window as before. I miss that feature specially when working with big images and you want to scale back and forth. Now you have to manually select "fit view" in the percentage option left under. Just my 2 cents 🙂

  2. Great video. Love the new updates! With camera raw getting a fresh upgrade…. what is the benefit to working in lightroom now? Seems like you can accomplish everything in PS using camera raw?!

  3. … okay, I found the Snapshot feature in Camera Raw – BUT I wish I could open all versions (I've done through adjustments for a picture) at once to Photoshop. I WANT AND NEED 🙂

  4. I really like that it is naturally closer between "Optics" and "Geometry" via the new tab system in Camera Raw. Hooray for this! However, I do miss that you can´t easily make a copy of the current image (including all adjustment you´ve done) in Camera Raw – BUT for those who did not know – right click on the image and select "Enhanced Details" and a copy is created after a while processing. I often use this as I want a darker and brighter (or other kind of distinguish) version of the same image so I can manually work with them together in Photoshop.

  5. … and it seems the performance is better now. I often got into trouble if both Bridge and Photoshop were up at the same time as Firefox went into the background. Now it looks like it is working well. Hurray!

  6. Does it deal nicely with deep pixel components yet? For comparison, GIMP incorporates GEGL technology, which allows it to support 16- and 32-bit-deep pixel components across all its effects and filters. Photoshop still can’t quite match this.

Also, how is the Python scripting API coming along?

  7. I was never a fan of the tiny icons in Camera Raw in previous Photoshops. ( a good reason to use Lightroom instead). The improvement is fantastic for PS. Now you get Lightroom like menu adjustments panel in Camera Raw.

  8. I don’t know about anyone else, but I have been having so much bug issues with this latest version to the point I can’t even use Photoshop. I’m having to revert to an older version. One issue is when I move something it stays in the same spot and another copy moves

  9. It seems the update changed the Zoom tool. The zoom is different where you make a marquee and zooms in on selected area.
Can anyone tell me how to change this back to the previous setting where you only left click and zoom?

  10. Can you please tell me where the Sharpening and Noise reduction options are (Luminance, Luminance Detail, etc). They seem to be gone unfortunately or I am missing it. Thanks

  11. They want $16-50 a month for the mobile version of this. Bloody ridiculous. Lightroom mobile is $7-00. Why do they think it’s worth more than twice as much as LR mobile.

  12. The old Adobe Raw had a way to reset to the same setting as the previous use. I cannot find how to do this or to be able to set a quick way to remember the past setting so as to reduce time resetting the sliders. Assist please? Otherwise like the changes very much.

  13. Thank you, yet another helpful video that takes the work out of getting to grips with updates to Photoshop. My favourite, the improved selection tool as it is going to remove a lot of the heartache and time when making a selection of an object.

  14. I HATE this update already. It completely deleted all my actions, brushes, and everything else that I'd developed to help my workflow over years. No previous update did that. It presents me with a stupid start screen that treats me like an absolute beginner, but doesn't say how to get rid of it. Really angry.
