@rinolope ALL of them. Most of the films nowadays use MAYA for CGI while ALL VIDEOGAMES you MAYA for CGI. If you are into all CGI effects stuff MAYA is really really necessary…by the way is really complicated so if you have no experiance at animation programs or so…don't get frustrated at first.
i use blender but it is sooooooo hard and confusing, it is the best looking that isint made by autodesk and cost a fortine. i have trouble making good animations to. i am trying to make stick figure animatins. SO IF U KNOW A GOOD STICK FIGURE PROGRAM BESIDES PIVOT PLZZZZZZ TELL ME BY SENDING MY ACCOUNT A MESSAGE
I have taken a year of professional Maya instruction. And it is REALLY, and I mean REALLY difficult. I ended up just giving up on it. I got into it because I love video games and the end product that it produces, but I hate the process that is required to make even decent creations.
Hope this helps anyone who is on the fence about it.
great! i'm learning maya but i really need your help on something: when you've rendered it, how do you convert it into a usable video file? each time i do it, it's only images and i don't want to assemble all of them to make a video…
or did you use Playblest? please help me!

those who have Maya are lucky, the best 3D program, too bad for me, I can't afford it.
Hell has a pretty sophisticated train there 😛

cs 1.6 sounds??
hehe, die regionalbahn zur hölle… sehr cool, gute atmosphäre. welche tarifzone ist denn das? oder geht das auch mit dem länderticket?
not bad at all, very cool lighting
Does it really matter?
IMO, it would look more epic in a persons POV and he stumbles a few time and stuff

nice, but you could have slow the camera movement down a little bit,and add a glowing effect, makes you seem more in the train and are hurt
I'm about to start doing some things on Maya and this is a really good example of some things I can add to my presentation. Thank you! Very nice job.

Oooh, that may prove to be a bit problematic. 🙂
Any suggestions for a relatively easy-to-learn yet capable program for 3d modeling/rendering?
oh, thanks a lot. so if i have a 120 frame animation, i have to assemble them one by one? this is gonna take a long time…

From what I've heard the learning curve is steep. Like exponentially steep.
A nice glimpse of what Maya can do. 🙂
I may invest in a copy for my upcoming commercial ventures. 🙂
How heavy is the learning curve?
how long did it take you to make? with out rendering time.. looks great! i want learn how to do this stuff
that maybe took long to make right?
I'm a noob on maya so i'm looking for a great demo reel. As an example on how powerfull maya really is.
This one is really the best i have seen on youtube…
