  1. There is a small problem. Whenever the OBJ export happens, it works perfectly, but the project gets huge after exporting the OBJ. And the worst of times it is necessary to modify the 3D and export again. So it further multiplies the size of the file. And in no time my project starts to have gigantic GB. How do I get him back to normal size. Thank you.

  2. This is what I get when I sourse the script:
    // Warning: file: C:UsersrenderDownloadsOBJSequenceExport.mel line 32: The -bs/-borderStyle flag is obsolete and should not be used. //

    Then I try to open it somewhere else, copy paste it and run it but when I type " craOBJSecuences; " in MEL this is what I get:
    craOBJSequences;
    // Error: line 1: Cannot find procedure "craOBJSequences". //

    Then when I sourse the other .MEL script that comes in the zip I still get the:
    // Warning: file: C:UsersrenderDownloadsOBJSequenceExport.mel line 32: The -bs/-borderStyle flag is obsolete and should not be used. //
    and a OBJ Secuense Export window opens with the filepath but when I press Export it! maya can't find the object

  3. I have a problem that hopefully SOMEONE can help me with. I have a character with a skin already attached to it. When I export it as a OBJ sequence it doesn't export the textures too. I was wondering if there's a tutorial or something I can do to get the textures to export with the mesh. Otherwise I am in the same boat as if I were to export it as an ABC

  4. Hi Pawnoz, im having troubles with a character, i have a character that has mouth, eyes, a shirt and few other stuff. Echa element has its own material, it imports great, but im having trouble with the materials when i import it to after effects. The materials get mixed, like the nose and the eyes get only one material, so then i cant colour them properly in element. I cant understand why this happens. Any insights on this? thanks for the tutorial

  5. nice tutorial! can i ask something about the materials? I mean, everything's fine with blinn or lambert, ma what about a more complex? with some bump or normal map ecc..or a three tone shader…
    there is a way to let element read it?
    thanks a lot

  6. Thank you so much for that amazing tutorial!
    At one point of the tutorial you noticed that your ogre is slightly moving. Do you know a way to stabilize it except manually adjusting it frame by frame?
    Thanks again!
