I bought Nikon D5300 body with 35mm 1.8 DX lens. I am in need of a all rounder lens which i can use outdoors and indoors. I am thinking to buy Tamron 18-200mm lens. Will that be sharp enough? Please advise. I am a outdoor hobbyist travel photographer by the way.
One more thing, I don't understand why photographers suggest 50 or 85 mm lens for portraits. Cant that be done from a 35 mm lens with closer distance? Just a thought.
