In this video I will share what I think people should learn in JavaScript before moving to a front end framework like React, Angular or Vue. This includes things like modules, classes, arrow functions and more. Ill also give some examples of these things being used in different frameworks.

What do have to have mastered in HTML and CSS before moving into javaScript??…. PLS SIR I NEED YOUR HELP… because im a bit confused… THANK YOU
Thanks! I had no idea about destructuring . I was piling up object definitions and was getting out of hand. (not professionally though)
react is a framework? 🙂
Wait so Promises is synchronous or asynchronous?
I through it was synchronous same as a Callback but a different syntax. Was I wrong?
Does the course in description has all the things u said in video ?
type script should also be included. it's in Angular
This was amazing!! Can u come up With videos teaching these concepts.
Thank you:)
Guys please stop using const. U are doing it wrong. Const in js is nonsense. Thank u
Thank you for this video
why are so awesome
your videos always make me understand new techniques. respect from Pakistan
awesome
omg all these feels like it will take 6-9 months to finish with 4 hours of studying each day
This is absolutely pure gold! I was just needing a summary like this.
So far, I'm still clinging to using jQuery but planning to proceed with Vue soon. I just like it simple and I think Vue right now fits that idea.
@Traversy Media is there a video on which framework to begin with ?
I'm so excited
So it means I don't need a book? To learn every single thing but instead learn all these and move to a framework?
Thanks for this video. you make the best webdev videos on youtube
Thanks for great video. I for one can say the basics are very important. If u know enough, u don't. I lost job thinking I was good with Angular but after getting job, it tuned nightmare coz I didn't know basic and I was confused if its JS or angular (like you said). I lost the job in few months. It was well paid but it gave me valuable lesson. thanks for the video. I am somewhat familiar with those concepts now, after 1 yr of that job
Can you please elaborate more on the topic of UI components/ states ? in a separate tutorials ? Thank you. (happy fruitful 2019!)
What IDE are you using? Visual studio code?
vue is best
Just what i needed to follow. Gracias. 😄👍
You said basic JavaScript, so it’s enough if I watch your js crash course ? Understand basic js concept and move on other js topics
Brad, this recommendation should've been the introduction to your react course in Udemy. I wish i knew this before taking the course, my life would've been a lot easier. Its not yet too late, now i can go back and retake the course hehe. Thanks for all you do man.
Wow this really helped me before getting into React. Thanks man your channel is the best in the whole web dev field!
Is there anybody who have used Ext.js ? The way Vue.js defines component is a bit similar to Ext.js which, although simple, is not what I like.
Angular syntax, thanks to typescript, is what prefer. There are class, implement (for interface), scope specifier/modifer which I already know in Java/C#.
With the upcoming React feature called Hooks, it seems that Classes will be gradually left out. So only in Angular we can still enjoy using classes. Therefore I plan to learn Angular when I have time; currently I have to continue learning React because of necessity.
my man <3
great as it is expected from you , thanks.
Tthere is other THING i do not know how to name it, let us name it the way of thinking, the way of thinking or how my brain work is totally different between how I think about my app as back end and how i should think about it in modern javascript, i do not know , it looks always messy to me.
so if you got what I mean , would you explain how can I rethink my app in the new javascript way.
Please recommend me a complete JavaScript tutorial, not very basic, not very lengthy.
I've used some JS, jQuery & AJAX, even some ES6 including some concepts mentioned here… Yet trying to learn a framework a lot of the time still sounds like rocket surgery… in Chinese…
Let's hope it's a case of not knowing the prerequisites well enough, and not the case of being too dumb to understand them 😜
your starting sound is starting to sound like a microsoft xp startup sound lol
Thanks dude, it‘s a great help
I was wondering
bred, please make a course about jquery
Am I the only one who don't know $h!t!!! about javaScript and still watch this? just bec the G.O.A.T uploaded it.
I'm a UI and graphic designer (know PHP before), trying to pick up js and node.. m lost, like too many js things 😂
These are good tips. Once you learn these concepts, it is way easier to learn the frameworks.
Great advice and content. Thank you so much!
