  1. Hey Blender Guru,
    I once saw a friend of mine making fine pixel art using Blender. He was making an indie game. He used the Blender Render to create sprites using simple meshes. After some manual tweaking it looked surprisingly well. I tried doing it myself, however, mine didn't quite look right. Even with the anti aliasing disabled, it still looked like a pixelated mess. Maybe an interesting topic to make a video about? If you have any experience with it of course… 😉

  2. I'm confused by the claim that there aren't that many sources for learning on the internet for commercial software and that everything is mainly "in universities". Never went to uni for 3D and somehow I make a living off it making photorealistic CGI in 3Ds MAX…

  3. I would like to have seeing the times it takes to create each image set of what you showed, for one who already masters Blender, not an expert, not a noob, just the time for someone who already masters Blender.

  4. I'm sad at how fast that ended =/ That was so exciting I wished it lasted longer.
    Oh btw that room he was wondering around in, Was running on the Unreal Engine 4 for you people who do not know. The objects in the room was from Blander but it was blenders creation running on the Unreal Engine, which is one of the most popular Game Engines out there right now.

Blender, all that i can say is that, if you have a decent computer, you can do alot with it, but thats not the best part for me, no the best part for me is the community, it's just amazing how nice the community is, how many tutorials there are out there and even now in the comments i came across people helping each other, linking them them videos of tutorials that may help them with their issues or improve their skills, and i just have to say that the Blender community is absolutely amazing, i wouldn't be where i am now if it weren't for the community, i would probably be doing crappy low-poly swords instead of modeling high-poly guns, if someone wants, i could start recording my modelling runs and speed them up to make speed modelling's or even post tutorials.

  6. Apologies while my autism takes over for a moment, but the first 4 seconds of this video are incredibly satisfying to me. Firstly, somebody says "yeah" on the down beat of the music. As that's happening, the guy in the foreground shrugs his shoulders exactly to the "yeah". Right after that, the guy shrugs his shoulders another 3 times, exactly to the cue of the girl laughing 3 times, which also happens to be exactly in tempo with the music. The guy in red also turns his head on the first down beat of the 3 laughs. After that, a guy sitting touches his face at the exact same time a guy in the background raises his arm.  I'm looking forward to the remaining 812 seconds of this video.

  7. Blender is just like a Linux system it's fine until what you need requires fine tuning and the adjustments are not forthcoming. Just to import an FBX rigged character you have to set many different values just for it to load properly or it won't. Whereas a more intuitive program would put those settings adjustments in the loading dialog instead of new users thinking it's no more than just uncooperative junk.

  8. I have used Maya for years and started using Blender a few years ago and haven't used Maya since. Blender is a dream to use over the complexity of Maya. As usual now I still struggle with long render times to make my animations look good only to have YouTube destroy the resolution after converting. Thanks for all your awesome tutorials.
