nice tutorial – couldn't make myself to create video-tuts but few months ago I published similar article on Blenderartists.

Tried to make those worn edges uneven and sort of jagged.
It works the best with a subdivision modifier on a model and it combines pointiness and procedural texture.
I keep playing with this approach though so it's still work-in-progress.
you need to equalize your audio on both left/right channels. ATM everything is on the left channel.
my right ear feels alone 🙁
