Heres the re-record coming in at 1/3 the length or less http://youtu.be/5Fls4NiOMP8
Im having troubles coming up with idea for what full length tutorials I should upload. Let me know in the comments if I should continue this, or what youd rather see. THIS IS UNEDITED SO ITS MUCH LONGER THAN IT WOULD NORMALLY BE and also has POPS AND A BIT OF NOISE that normally wouldnt be there.
In this part we set up the blueprints, get reference images, and very slowly model the basic hood as a starting point to work off from.

So it took you an hour to model a single car hood…
thank you so much for this tutorial…. glad I found you
You misstyped the last link it should be "tutorial" instead of "tutoriasl", btw, great video, thank for the tutorial
thank you for the tut.
side view is not showing in the link. possibly missing.
Not too bad but, a little torpid. One vertex, several vertices, by the way. Vertices is the plural of vertex.
1 hour to do the hood..
20 minutes in and you haven't done a shit 😀
Please do a video on a Lamborghini if possible, i bet thats what the public wants to see! 😀
do you have also part 2…??
where is the side blueprint
I like to try this one .. but your side.png picture aint there anymore 😀
Good tutorial but your dealing with the most primitive of blueprints. The site is a Soviet web site I'me guessing from the language thats printed on the page. This is the link http://www.carblueprints.info I"ve gotten prints before from them. Thats where the Thunderbird prints come from. I can"t wait for you to finish.Thank you for your time.
great job, blender is fun to use it almost unlimited what you could do with it , in other words when you use blender you are in God Mode ,you could created anything you want and move things the way you want
im interested to the result, but you need very long time for modelling… maybe you could use timelapse for some parts(sorry, i forgot the correct term ^^ (im not so good in foreign languages)).
But apart from this, very good tutorial… 🙂
