  1. I seriously appreciate guys like you who take the time to make videos like this. I've already watched a number of Blender tutorials, but truthfully, I've learned something useful and new with every single video I've watched, even if it covers the same material. I guess repetition is key. Anyway, I'm looking forward to watching the rest of your videos. Thanks for doing this! 🙂

  2. First of all, you really do a great job of explaining the subject. But this software and what you must learn just seems so primitive, for what you get out of it. If this were lunch, and I wanted a hamburger, I'd have to begin by taking a trip out to the country and finding a farmer that will sell me a cow.
When you see a feature-length 3D movie it seems they must have had several hundred thousand guys, working for many years to produce something like that. Or once you get the basics, does something open up and tell you it's all a joke, now here is the easy way to create a realistic 3D dragon that will swoop down and light up the butt of my x-wife! 🙂

  3. Dude, you are ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I put Blender on hold for a while because I thought it would be too difficult to muster. But on Monday I installed it … Wednesday I downloaded your tutorials, and today, on Friday, I feel like I already have the hang of it all. A more brilliant tutor no-one could ever wish for. You are brilliant!! Thank you so much.

  4. Very nice video!  I love how the first tutorial explains interface.  This is the perfect way to go about teaching someone a program.  I hate when people just jump in with a bunch of shortcuts and I can't find anything in the program and I really don't understand the interface.  I am BRAND NEW to blender and this was very helpful.  You are clear and I could follow you easily.  I will be subscribing to your channel.

  5. No offense but if you're just learning Blender yourself and new to the whole 3D modeling and animation stuff, what makes you qualified to teach other people? When happens if halfway through the tutorial you're facing a problem that you don't know how to deal with? How can I be sure that you know enough to adequately teach me?

  6. Thanks dude! I thought it would be a good idea to pick up some project for this summer and I decided to learn 3D animation. As I haven't done any animation before blender looked extremely confusing. But now it makes more sense.

  7. Just wanted to let you know that a lot of people do not have the full understanding of how to teach people in a tutorial. You, however, have mastered the art of teaching and I thank you x 3.

  8. all i can say is omg thank you.  I can't tell you how many times i've downloaded blender, opened it, stared at it for 10 minutes, closed it and uninstalled it.  Short and to the point.  thank you so much!

  9. I just got a copy of Blender and was looking for a good tutorial when I happened on this one. Your comment was a big help as I'm also hearing-impaired (from the military). It's not often you can find subtitles accompanying videos and when you do they're often either frustrating or completely hilarious. 🙂

    Thanks for the input.

  10. You make me subscribed friend, good tutorial and explanation I'm starting to used blender and your tutorial help I will definitely will watch your video. Looking forward for more videos. Keep it up.

  11. 1st thing, restart your computer and try again. If it persists, re-install blender and try again. If it still happens, post your computer specs (processor, GPU, Operating System) and we can try to help more.

  12. help me. there is a bug at my blender. when i go to user preferences, its just like a window with nothing in it. then its unresponsive. u cant minimize, close , or maximize it. and when u move the window around, it multiplies into many windows.

  13. hey thanks for making these tutorials although i haven't watched them all yet i'm looking into that wiki link that you gave and gonna watch the tutorials as I read the wiki book (because usually visual tutorials are easier to learn (for me) 😀

  14. Google Blender tutorials pdf. Also, type in Gryllus Blender pdf tutorials. When you are on Gryllius dot net website, scroll furtherest down the page to find pdg tutorials. To open pdf pages, you will need Adobe Reader, which is free to download.

  15. Thank you so much for these vids and the link, I've been trying to get my channel off the ground but I needed a better opening then a simple picture flipping or fading in and out and this helped me so much, if anyone asks me how to do things like this I'll direct them here.
