Good video! The people in Hanoi seem so nice and friendly, I don't see as many smiles where I live! I also really enjoyed your letter to your 12 year old self post.
The guy by the fence probably thought you were nuts.
Love your work Eric…
Thanks for the video and content 🙂 great tips.
thanks senpai for the street photography tips, gonna apply those techniques to kick it up a notch ??
why didnt you touch the guy at the second photo?
With a smile you go along way to make people more comfortable. Interesting and entertaining. Touching your subject before photographing is interesting… perhaps not a good idea though; if you photograph Women, Children, Tigers or Donald Trump. 🙂
Vietnam has not really changed in the last 50 years… Maybe there are a few spots downtown where the Chinese have spent money on new office buildings but look around and most of the buildings and businesses in the outskirts of town and in the country are stagnant. Only things missing are the hookers on the streets and the old ladies with black teeth chewing beetle-nut sweeping the streets.
LMAO…you know no boundaries
Interesting sharing on street photography in Hanoi.
At end of clip with blue security staff catching your attention was it hostile or just a hello, if it's a hostile act what should be my reaction,
Thanks
Eric, when are you coming back to the states? Would love to do some street with you.
