  1. I'm shy in a certain degree but my tallest hurdle for me would be the legal aspect of it. I'm never sure about how legal it is to take a picture of a stranger without their consent.

I mean, in case the stranger takes it the wrong way and gets mad and demands the picture to be deleted, for instance. Would their right reach that far???

Of course I could just delete that one picture and move on, but it would be good to know for sure whether you have the right to keep pictures taken in public places.

  2. Great video. (y)
But the best part was those pleasent eye soothing street photographs along with the color tones that u have used for the photos. Can u pls make a video on how do u make such color tones.

  3. you seem to shoot wide open. wide open is sometimes artfully good but risky since the focus is thin. any tips when shooting wide open especially in street photography where subjects can be evasive? would you discourage it and just shoot like in f5.6 or 6.3. it's amazing you are able to shoot side open not to mention you are manually focusing.

  4. Ed!! Killer video! I'm very shy and introverted in general and when taking pictures because as you say "I just grab my camera and take pictures of people." I love doing it because I always think other people are more interesting than myself. I think that if I follow the "ask to take a picture" tip, I could really get myself out there for just a small interaction. Thanks!

  5. Eduardo, thank you for sharing your seven tips. Your examples of people, not noticing you as you captured them happen to me all of the time. I am often surprised, they are not paying attention to me. I like to shoot with an 18-55 mm zoom lens. I shoot at 20-25mm quite a bit when in markets or at an event so my lens is not pointed directly at them. A very enjoyable way to shoot. The zoom helps isolate faces or other items of interest that would not stand out otherwise. The woman in the blue coat near the ducks was an awesome capture!

  6. Very inspiring I always liked street photography and i recently got my 35mm prime so i am off to meet some interesting people or just shoot them! Thanks for the info it was really helpful 🙂

  7. i havent had anyone being violebt…..but i 've once had this guy ask me to delete the picture i'd taken of his son..

maybe because he thought i'm part of this big child-kidnaping-racket or somthing..!
but nowadays i dont have the guts to take pics of PPL on the street 🙁

  8. nice video. unfortunately i live in NYC and its an entirely different story trying to take anyones picture here . you HAVE to ask. your looking for trouble if you try to sneak a shot of anyone and they see it / know here in NYC. they want to know what for? will it be posted anywhere, am i getting paid. etc i have had way
better success in other countries. other than that your shots are great.

  9. You're too modest. You have a comfort level which is necessary in this genre. I really enjoyed your simplistic view and your down to Earth mood. Thank you for sharing your inspiration. 🙂
