Unlike the %99 of the naysayers here who thinks they teaching photography and they are so cool and playing devil's advocate talking about only the negative side of photography business – this video of yours highly motivating, inspiring and certainly gives a boost to start working right away. This is how instructional video should be. Bravo!

  8. Those kit lenses are too soft for me. I prefer good, fast prime lenses or the more expensive zooms. Although, Tamron does beat all for cost, and their cheaper zooms are amazing compared to kit lenses.

  20. Seems to be, especially as a young photographer, that the only way to get shots of people is to be popular. So if you're not popular among other kids your age, you won't succeed in photography. Unless you do sports, or landscapes.

    Portrait photography is one of the most rigged games in the world. One of the subject of photography where skill and practice dont have any part, all it is about to be a successful portrait photographer is being popular.
