These people do not seem to understand that when you work for the tax payers, you actually have less rights. You do have to identify yourself to any citizen who asks. But it doesn't work in reverse, a citizen can remain nothing but a 'citizen.'

photography is just as legal as chewing gum can you imagine the outrage if cops detained gum chewers and said we suspect you might litter. but seriously you are protesting and redressing grievances of a government body to implement change you have every right to protest and you should always ask , can any of my information be used against me in a court of law ? then if they sit you down and detain you and with force obtain id, then if you get arrested you can use the fact that they forced you to violate your 5th AMENDMENT they forced you to give evidence against yourself . this means they have on record violated your rights to gain evidence so it would be inadmissable by them but used against them in the civil suit . remember people usually cite 4th amendment violations , make sure you get them to go away or violate your 5th . then you are at a win win
