Maybe something changed, but in the current version of Blender, regardless of settings, Soft bodies all fall completely flat like a cloth sim, unless goal is set and stiffness increased to max… then it just floats and wobbles…
Very nice tutorial!
Excellent! thank you very much. I've been smashing my head against the wall trying all the options trying to make a rolled plastic cable look realistic.. and failed miserably
Very helpful in understanding the soft body settings. Thanks so much. 🙂
OMG! This was so informative! Right to the point and easy to understand.

What program do you use to edit these videos?
Does anyone have the problem where your mesh's vertices disappear and object's dimensions are the size of Mars right on second frame of simulation? I haven't been able to find any help with it.
how did you make them drop? sorry I am very new to blender
Edit* Never mind, I figured it out, it was not that hard
quick and informative, thanks!
Really useful breakdown! Thank you!
Very clear. Only problem is that on my simulatioon nothing at all happens. No idea why.
thanks! but ive been trying to figure out how to back it rip? like for destruction.
Good video but I would not call it a tutorial, it is more like a demo or value demonstration with annoying music.
Excellent! Thanks!
Great video! Really helped out!
