Setting up drivers to control viability of objects in Blender.
I struggled with my screen capture software so getting the detail of the tut was less important at the time as getting the software to record without crashing ๐

have a thumbs up!
I don't usually comment, but Glenn, fantastic stuff!!!
how or where can i learn this form scratch, is this a series? a course? man this is awesome i love blender but didnt knew it could do this.
Nice Tutorial! Thank you! This will help in speed when I get into 2D animation. I suppose it could also be adapted for 3D as well.
u need to speak louder… seriously.
Excellent tip! subscibed!
Wish there was a tutorial on this, like on udemy I would pay for this seriously.
Hello Glenn, pretty nice technique! However, I can't seem to find how to put the change between different sprites into an animation clip properly. The pivot point of the armature of my model seems to move to the position of the pointer (that I animate to switch between the sprites). Would be awesome if you told me how you animate that when it's set up.
Cheers!
I don't see why not. It should be exactly the same process.
can you use the same method for 3d objects? for 3d animations
it wont work for me D:
Nice!:)
ive watched this countless time, and seem to not be grasping it, im trying to set up different mouth shapes to change like you have this to animate 2d, but being rather new to blender im not sure how youve set this up with the copies to click and set up your drivers.
do you know of any Online classes I can take for 2d animation?
It's like flash/adobe after effect with duik plugin! ๐ Nice.
Hi, Great tutorial it really helped. I have been messing with the file that you posted on the forum and was wounding how you imported the character into blender and to get the mesh to same shape.
I have posted an early but usable version of Ron here:

Thank you so much you have no idea how helpful this is the other tutorials for this don't even work but this method is seamless and very simple
Good lesson! Thank you! 2D animation in blender will be the most popular with your lessons!
Thank you for sharing this technique with us Glenn ๐
That's a great solution Glen. Much more interactive that sliding a UV over an composite image of mouth shapes.
i like you kind of animaton how are you doing it? i would love to know
