Two inventors from Bern have created a remote control drone that is capable of providing spectacular aerial video shots. The drone was used at the last international Lauberhorn ski races and recently flew up to very high altitudes in the mountains of Pakistan.

Funny how this advanced tech in 2012 is now off the shelf tech. yah capitalism!
Awesome footage.
uuummmm two inventors???? they didn't invent this. Its a flamewheel from DJI or perhaps a copy from hobby king.
They make it sound like they made some amazing discovery. This stuff is all readily available these days if your prepared to spend the dollars.
WTF?!? That footage is from one of the TBS "one minute on board" videos!
Amazing
That looks like the route to K2
Great video! http://youtu.be/-B14c8g9y-o
They probably drilled many holes into it to make it lighter after having been inspired by swiss cheese…
I wonder if any less expensive drones are as stable, have similar video stabilization and are as vibration free.
It's just an RC multicopter not a drone, LOL! news is getting cheap on research even in Swiss land as it seems it is turning into CNN land. LOL!
WTF This is complete bullshit just like the guy below me said. Their just repeating the stuff countless other people have done.
very amazing images ! and very good use of the drone , its a new age from tecnology sience
Well done…. a good effort…. keep going
That is a DJI Flamewheel These clowns are total bullshit. Invent this…
well done guys !
2:18 the guy almost falls?!
Nice
Nice video and shot at wonderful location. I wonder if was safe to fly in that area. However calling this an 'invention' is wrong, just custom made. Its off-the-shelf parts put together. A lot of people are flying them these days. I noticed some footage was shaky, with post production stabilization. I guess next time a light gimbal like Tarot would help.
Really great video
Hey guys! Check out my aerial video!
Vermente belle immagini. Saluti team flying4nature
Very nice
Amazing, and hard to fly with those conditions
do not use the word drone for that but rather UAV or multirotor. Drones are linked to surveillance and war. I wonder what camera has been used
Because it look cool and "in".
And they are moron also. lol
Why does the media insist on calling RC Copters "drones"??? They need to do there background research if they want to be a good journalist !!
