2:55 I guess that was the moment the students just had to stop talking xD
Thanks for the tutorial.
Is it possible to sculpt on a character model in Blender?
to summarize: n>display>no grid floor+only render + add modifier>multiresolution modifier>subdivide x4 + sculpt mode
HOLY FUCK IS HE BORING
Very clear explanations, thank you very much !
If you're gonna do a tutorial about sculpting, start by doing a tutorial about sculpting and stop explaining what everything else does. This was lame.
This is probably the most helpful tutorial hat I've seen. Thank you! It's exactly what i was looking for!
Interest here, I was planning on buying a few books on the basics of what brushes do, and how well you could use them, I'm actually hoping you can start a project. A big thanks.
Really useful, just a noob question, how do you extrude stuff? l want to make some holes in my sculpt
Dumbass bitch I don't know anything about this program I have a shit computer and then when you subdivide it lags it retard you should have said something my computers frozen now thanks retard

Nice, an actual beginner tut – thank you!!
You made a beautiful sculpture.
(But in all seriousness this was extremely helpful)
Hey there, thanks for the tutorial.
Did you use pen tablet or mouse to do the sculpt?
how to backspace?
no dl
Lmao I subdivided mine like 8-10 times and its still super smooth CPU still at only 7% usage even when moving now actually rendering it…. We'll see
how coloring?
how do you move the camera position?
Just subdivide a cube into sphere and extrude it into shape. Lot easier…
Preview does nothing in sculpt mode
This is an awesome and quick tutorial how to dive into sculpting. Thanks!
Best tutorial I've seen. No excess talking. Straight to the point. You are fantastic!
Thank you so much! Taught me so many tricks. Props to you.
This is not how you want to sculpt in Blender if you're doing form creation. Use Dynamic Topology instead.
You can add and subtract mesh on the fly and build your shape without distorting it.
Then only after that do you use this modifier 'sculpt' method in the video for a surface detail pass.
very high quality tutorial thank you.
Thanks to Nathanael Powell, I made this: http://i.imgur.com/5v4KIwu.png Youre Welcome.
The first half was about setting up your personal preferences, and though there should be tutorials dedicated to that, they should be done by someone exposed to more development applications who will try to explain beyond their own biases. The second half described little and revealed nothing that someone experimenting on their own couldn't figure out.
Thank you so much, I'm making my first game and this really helped. I wish my teachers back in high school and uni had been this good!
This video helped so very much! Thank you!
