Never use a shiny reflector like silver or gold in bright sunlight
Looks like Tempe Camera in the background
Has there ever been a sexier model? Me thinks no.
All those homeless guys taking a nap around. How can they not be interested in photography?
just awesome guys, nice and simple to understand, will try all these techniques out.thanx
maybe i missed it at the beginning . . twice sofar you did not mention the power of your flash?? . . are you in ettl?? . . yes, good choice in sun, flash(es), model!!!!
What size of 5-in-1 reflector you using in this video tutorial?
Ive been a professional photographer for 11 years now, but i still find these videos interesting and helpful. Even if i know many of the things taught, there is often some little nugget of info or something being done in a way i wouldn't have thought of. Most of all though, i like the friendliness of the your teaching Mark. There are a lot of photographers who have a feeling of superiority, but you have a very humble approach and you meet people right where they are, however basic that might be (eg you explaining what a lens hood is). That is how photography should be, it's a fun thing to get into. Your videos are by far the best i have seen anywhere. They are informative, pleasant to watch and you get to the point, whilst making the whole thing fun. You also teach on all levels which is great. I really appreciate your efforts!
Very helpful.
very nice detailed tutorial. very helpful
Like this!!
The reflector pointing upwards is casting unflattering shadows at 8:59 and 9:08. Shouldn't it be held up and pointed downwards (wrt the sun of course)?
which lense u r using ?
What's the name/brand of the reflector? I'm looking to purchase one.
wow
thats great
thanx my frıend .turkey
good
Wow very informative straight to it information. I highly appreciate this video, as im shooting my first family portrait soon. And i also bought the 5-1 reflectors today. I'm definitely subscribing.
what size of reflectors is a good size to purchase?
So helpful! Thanks!!
Great Video! Every question i had with outdoor portraits has been answered. Sharing this with my photography group. Thank You!
If you look closely at the photos using the reflector you will see a very unnatural catch light at the bottom of the eyes. The proper way to use the reflector is to raise it above your head this way the direction of light is more natural looking. This also repositions the catch lights near the top of the eyes.
I'll put some shadow on your face Sam…giggity
I can't help but notice those knockers…they look so saggy in that dark loose shirt!
the only trick in this video is Sam
is that guy in the background dead or nah?
Brilliant episode Mark. Thank you for the helpful information.
Ann?
lol she keeps bending her knee for a head shot
beautiful blond chick
This is excellent! So glad I found you. Thanks for your work and for sharing.
The model is Samantha Kozuch
El teléfono de la señorita por favor ???
SAM????………MMMMMMM…….😍i love her !!!! does anyone knows more about this beauty goddess…..please😢
Very good video………I REALLY like Sam ! 😉 Okay, seriously, I have one question (and others might also be curious). When using an external Flash for fill light, should one make any exposure adjustments on either, the Flash unit (provided the unit has this feature) or on one's camera. Probably depends on the lens you are using and the distance from you (the camera man) and the subject (Sam. btw – did I mention I really like Sam? Would really like to test out this procedure with Saml………) Oh yeah, one other question. Can you tell us what lens you are using…………and Sam's telephone number? 😉
What camera and lens are you using?
Sam looks like Heather Locklear.
Fill flash isn't necessarily a good thing for outdoor.
What setting/strength do you have the flash on?
