This guy is awesome
in windows how to find fonts?
Tried to apply the subsurface modifier to text after converting it. Worst idea in Blender I ever had since the infinite array of donuts.
comic sons is my fab text also
Beginner here, amazing series, can't thank you enough. I'm having issues with engraving text on a subdivided surface, Boolean distorts the mesh. Any suggestions on videos of yours to watch that might help. (I'm making dice with engraved numbers, like for DnD)
Calling glitches a feature xD
Wordmark.it is a great website that displays all the fonts on your computer. Pretty handy tool for selecting fonts in blender.
Alt+c "convert to" awesome, don't use much curve/text stuff because I always have a hard time with remembering how to do this, now I feel silly.
What about special characters that are not in the "text" menu?
love ur intro
mines came out black after making it mesh why is that?
I'm on a BornCG marathon right now! I'd tell you to keep em coming but I see I still have some ground to cover. Thanks!
I love your way of approaching topics. Before I started watching this series, I was a complete noob in not just Blender, but pretty much 3D Modelling in general. It's not like I'm any less of a beginner now, but I know quite a bit. And that's because of your tutorials. Every single video that I've watched in this series so far has be really beginner-friendly.
Thanks.
Gotta love the way you say "bevel" c;
how to make it back into a text
Note: For Windows anyhow, when browsing Fonts, you can select "Thumbnail View" (to the left of the button up top that says "Normal" and it will then show you a thumbnail preview of each font, instead of just a list of names! Very handy!
Someone liked this video so much that they turned the screen upside down and liked it again!
As of Blender 2.75, you can preview fonts by using the thumbnail view 🙂

Thanks for another useful tutorial.
If you're on a Mac, you have an app called Font Book. It's part of OSX.
Can use that to preview any font on your computer.
Thanks again.
I am not able to find Taper object and Bevel object (or geometry section) options in blender version 2.74
… can someone please help me …
My font folder was in /usr/share/fonts "Elementary OS" 🙂
Good Videos! Keep up the good work man. Learning alot!
I love these video so much. Very useful. Thank you.
I'm very new to Blender and I'm just wondering how do you move your camera angle?
