  1. Consider how photos fade, decay and just get otherwise damaged. Each of these photos are unlikely survivors. Now, like everything in the world now, they are immortalized on the internet. There is a possibility they will still be around digitally until the end of humanity as a species.

  2. Can you imagine how thrilling it must have felt!! I know how I felt the first time I used a Polaroid camera at age 4.
Also, I keep making the "foot" noise at the end of that part

  3. Its amazing to think of time and how each generation touches another. When I was 4 in 1972, I had a neighbor man who was born in 1868. He was in good shape , walked everywhere, and wore overalls, a straw hat, and chewed tobacco and taught me how to call turkeys.

  4. It always amazes me the people who you think lived in a totally different era that overlapped with your own life. Not only have I lived at the same time as those who fought in the Great War, but I recall the death of the last surviving soldier from The American Civil War! I recall he was a boy bugler. But such people as Winston Churchill who, apart from being a great war leader took part in the (possibly) last cavalry charge of the British Army. Mind blowing!

  5. Knowing that I just saw a picture on YouTube in 2018 in a video showing a woman in a picture that was from the 1800s but she was born in the mid 1700s and wasn’t that far away from being alive in the 1600s really screwed up my head for the night and now I may not be able to sleep.

  6. Photography connects us to the past and makes it seem much more real. The perspectives of historians of the future on our own time will be greatly altered by their ability to see this current world in full HD, not to mention the ridiculous amount of photos

  7. These pictures are hilariously bad!.. I can't stop laughing out loud by how bad they really are. You should see the pictures my Apple Iphone XS MAX takes! There is no comparison whatsoever. My XS MAX has liquid iris technology backed with a whopping 12 megapixel smart HDR photo brain. The results are just gorgeous beyond words!! I still can't help from laughing out loud so much from watching this video though. Thanks for the upload!
