I reproduced the inverse selection bug, exactly as you did it.
I had the problem with inverse. Worked second time.

At last tutorials at the correct pace. If this was AP it would have been 1hr long, no disrespect to AP but he does waffle on. Can't wait to give this a try. I'm new to Blender and a lot of the tutorials don't show some of the mesh modeling skills shown here … always, here's a simple model now lets see how pretty it is when I render it with materials you don't have!
+7:20 – has anyone found a faster way to select every other edge loop? I found plenty of ways to select every other *face*, but not edge. seems tedious to manually select these

This is a great channel. I'm still using version 2.78 and the invert bug isn't there. I also found it easier to detach the stem and before smoothing the top of the pumpkin. Awesome video, thanks.

Vertices singlular is 'vertex' not vertice. Everybody says vertice which drives me crazy, but this is a good tutorial anyway.
Blender 2.79 on Centos linux system. inverse worked fine.

I did it in a different way. So funny to see how many ways you can do something.
