For those who have problem with the join button, just press ctr+j after you select one of the objects with the shift.

every time I try to press and hold shift to add all 4 layers no matter the sequence layer 2 just disappears completely.. but when I deselect layer one it just pops back out again… help?

Pls help. At 7:28 when I do that it selects other objects. Not just at the center.
How can I free the outer shell and also the inner Voronoi clusters from unnecessary points? How can I eliminate the small rectangles automatically so that only clean square voronoi cluster remains?
