In this video I show you how I photograph kingfishers from a hide. I give tips how to photograph kingfishers. There is a pair of kingfishers breeding in the garden of a friend. This gives me the possibility to think out several photos I want to make, and all the time to get them! This vlog is part of a series, so be sure to check out the other vlogs as well if you missed any!

Great photo's!
I'm really getting to know some kingfishers this year as there at my local pond havn't found a great viewing spot yet but interesting getting to know there ritual.
I think i Just learned of the females common spot, great view but a bit far away and hidden in shade pretty much all day >.< just outside the bushes of there nest.
Love the excitement of it all! Some of the best K bird images I’ve seen 😉🤙
You are putting a lot into these videos Jeroen, the editing is marvelous and you keep it interesting. Some nice facts coming out too. What cage are you using for your camera? Are you pleased with it? You have an avid audience now. Only 170 to go, and you'll hit the first 1K.
All the time spent waiting and waiting is rewarded when you capture images like that. Another enjoyable video Jerome. The diving shots just mean a longer wait😀
The excitement in your voice makes it another great video! I admire the passion you have for your craft. Thank you for taking us along on your journey.
Lovely kingfisher shots. 👍
It took me 4 years to capture a wild diving kingfisher. So good luck 😉
