Love your channel! Thank you for the videos!!!😊
Well perfect tutorial from 3dEx(Full workflow) But, just one qstn … Do we need to apply Soften edge to all the objects in Lpoly after done with UV'ng ?
this video was so helpful! thankyou so much
awesome^^
At 7:26, when I go into UV Editor, I don't see the Polygon menu and Any other tools……PLz help…Is UV Mapping necessary for this Project ? Can we skip UV Mapping ?
Sorry, I have a question. I purchased your texture pack, but no metal layer was found.
Your channel is pure gold. Thank you!
Super helpful 👍❤️
When i'm importing my FBX to Zbrush there are some missing polygons on my model. Could anyone help me how to fix that?
is there any plugin you're using in Maya?
THank you 3dEX, i finally found your tutorial!!, i have been watching your bunch of others movies but couldn't catch up it was too fast lol
@3dEx – hi dear hope you are fine and doing well.
i'm using these orb brushes in 4r8 but right now m using 4r7-p3 and some orb brushes are missing i mean " error has been encountered while trying to load brush preset " getting that error, really need your help please.
GOD bless you.keep up the great work !
waiting for your reply,
thank you very much
I love this so much. Its actually kinda ASMR esque for me as well as super helpful. 🙂 Been recently following the techniques you use to try and improve my modelling before I go into my 4th year of uni cause I don't want to suck 😅
Nice tutorial. But you really need a louder mouse. My neighbors still couldn´t hear it
18:16 what do u press
whenever I try to import the mesh in Zbrush as an fbx i keep getting this message "An error occured with file import. Error code: -1" i don't know what I'm doing wrong.Loved the video though keep them coming
Thank you, Thank you, and Thank you!
One question. What is the purpose of adding bevel edges for the high poly version? Does that guarantee a better baking result?
In 1:58 when you deleted the edges, how did you optimize the polygon to become like that. I deleted the edges and the result was like, there were vertices that werent connected. Your model got all connected.
Really appreciate it that you upload this for free, thank you!
At 1.06.50 what hotkey did you use to toggle between the baked map on your viewport..
Do you offset the mirrored UVs for the bake in substance painter? Nice video btw. Found your channel on 80.lv. Keep up the good work! 🙂
Хороший тутор. Maya the best program!
Beautiful tutorial of full process about a prop for a videogame, great!
Hey 3dEx, can you explain why it's important to do the hard / soft edges in Maya? I can't really find too much information about this or why it's important in this pipeline. Cheers
for texturing what kind of software you are using
Hey, I noticed some of your geometry uses some NGons for the low poly. Was just wondering what are the cases that these are considered okay and when do you decide to use them?
Thanks mate!!
Sensei, could you please make another video, exporting substance painter materials to maya?
Thank you for great tutorials from Korea!
For some reason In substance painter my High poly didnot apply to the low poly, I think i proper named (I named high poly in Zbrush).. why???
More tutorials like this!!! They are incredibly helpful! Thank you for posting 🙂
Is there a way you can upload all your UI settings? Maybe there is a easy file in your maya direction or so? I really like your wireframe colors and so on
well i followed your tutorial but i could not get the same results. It looked good in the substance painter but when i imported in unity 3d, there were some serious problems with softness and hardness of the seams, weird reflections.
Can u explain how u make it straight ? 7:50 – 8:00 , im not good in UV 🙁
why when i bake normap map in substance, hard edges have a lot of black spot?? pls reply
Im not sure why, but i get awful shading on edges at my low poly after baking. ><
I'm slowly transitioning from beginner to intermediate level but this video showed me how I still have a ways to go, haha
Please reply ! got the material by subtance paint. why uvmap by maya.? If uvmap is not
why did you created a high poly version in maya?
why do you unwrap every piece like this??? why not making an auto unwrap? especially for parts like this that are really cubic
And you are using substance painter so an auto unwrap is good for it…
