Completely skipped showing the sculpting part, why? It makes it look like the step from Maya to Substance Painter magically received sculpted detail on it, which is misleading to people learning this stuff. :/
I get how you made the simple model in Maya, but where did all the details come from? Like the cracks and brick textures? Are those painted on or are they 3D?
from where can i get the reference image ?
The actual stylizing, is that a bump map? normals? or sculpting? or all?
Anybody noticing it's a Blinx 2 song? Come on hahaha ma childhood, nice asset btw
How long is the course?
is it fully narrated on actual full video? If it so I am going to perchase it..
Wait a minute… You're not Orb. I thought this was Orb. Because… you know… that's his design.
Hello, sir. I need your help. actually I am facing little problem. my question is when I model something and then complete the texture, later if I need loop there when I put it the loop texture going weird and I think completely distorted. is there any way if I put it loop my texture keep in good condition. sorry my English is bad. Looking forward your response. Thank you
@3dEx plese tell how u will get those reference images
How u get those reference images
Cool stuff, the only thing dont like how bricks on towers and wall intersect.
Dude, this is a really nice and helpful video, but…
Is that the fkn Blinx Soundtrack!?
This looks like realm royale
The art style has an Overwatch feel to it!
I wonder if he skipped the part where he sculpts in the details…
you're really amazing.. I just purchased this gumroad tutorial- thanks for being so helpful :')
would you like to sell your courses on udemy or steam to make it easier to buy in other countries?
whats your UVs layout looks like??
Wonderful 😍
how did you add the ambient occlusion map layer to change the color?
When you are at the club but you cant stop modelling
how did you get the normal map 0.0 by zbrush?
Hi mate ! love all ur tuts. I have a semester film and been thinking about engine based rendering and concepts of pbr rendering. Something like Arnold or renderman does pbr rendering too but I have seen less tutorials related to it. Can you tell where to look for and understand this stuff? my main focus is to have hq rendering in least amount of time so I can focus more on modelling and animation! (*also having a small learning curve 😛 *)
really appreciate this channel. I do hope Substance Painter improves their brushes to be more akin to Photoshop. As is now it is really hard to get the "hand painted" look in Substance Painter. I mean it looks REALLY good but only at 75% of what Photoshop can do.
Hey m8, a very nice one again – but how about switching to Blender 2.8 🙂 ?
Just bought your stylized material tutorial, although I'm not entirely new to substance painter, I still learned a lot from it. Thanks!
Hey man, love your vids! Im learning so much from you 😍. So thanks.
Quick question though, what are you doing to draw straight lines on substance painter?
Hey guys, at 6:14 he seperates the corner as a new object, but it didn’t leave a hole in the original mesh, what exactly was his process there?
Awesome Vid! As I'm just trying to aim for such a artstyle (i especially suck at texturing xD ) this is very inspring 🙂 awesome content!

Superb!
Hi! I have a question about the Substance part of this tutorial: is it similar to your "How to make an Stylized Material" tutorial or do you teach different things?
Hell yeah, now we're talking. Bought it. I love your stuff <3
Hi, how do you bake the model in low and the high when you use zbrush. I always get problems in the maps textures. Do you increase the cage?
Man I love this style 🙂 Is the full version recorded in real time? Or 2x faster?
The stylized material you use is it the same one on your gumroad site?
Don't Skip the Initial colouring Part Danke !!!
11:35 how did you paint this with selection?
nicely done! i was wondering if you were gonna add in the flames or not 😉
Other question! Do you use Substance for bake or xNormal or in Maya itself?
This stylized material! you did?
Another amazing tutorial. By any chance was the 2nd track from Blinx: The Time Sweeper?
Beautiful modeling, beautiful style,…simply beautiful.
