Awesome video. But am I the only one that feels the video clips of him has too much of a green tint to it? Like it has a green wash to those video clips.
Same issues with Gimp as below. Do you have a video showing how to retrieve the photo from the hard drive-crop it-ready it for Etsy or eBay? Thanks. Donna
Can't see what you are clicking on😒
Hi. Looks good but have no idea about this. Have watched several tutorials to no avail. Trying to get pics ready to put on Etsy. Etsy pic area says pic is too small need to be 2000 pixels. ???? Cannot figure it out. Been on here 4 hours but still have not put the pics where I want them on my hard drive. I do not see where I am to go get the picture off hard drive. Even took you Udemy course last year. Feel so stupid. UUgghh. Very frustrated. Donna

This is most detiled video in my opinion
I've been editing photos for a while now, but never really established a set work flow. This video has been a great help.
1:40 Right click, Open with…
*NOTE*: There is a menu that appears when opening the image file. The window's called "Convert to RGB working space?". Don't know what to do there, doesn't seem to change much whether I press <<convert>> or <<keep>>
1:58 Crop tool located in the toolboox. It is the icon on the 4th column 3rd row. If the toolbox isn't visible or is hard to find just press shift + C or you can find it in TOOLS dropdown menu, on the TRANSFORM TOOLS option.
ANOTHER NOTE To see all the tools, icons, etc. you can do 2 things
1. Press TAB
2. Click Windows dropdown menu, check that the option "Hide Docks" isn't
crossed off
3:11 Question: I believe I adverted this by first creating a new file and selecting a preset of the size of the image desired. Then I drag the image instead of right-clicking and doing "open with" idk
3:40 scale image

*I'm going to sleep, I'll edit later
Great toturial! thanks for sharing
Pls my gimp 2.10.8 is not working well on my pc and I’m not able to edit my background picture and some other stuff…please what should I do
This guy really look like Michael Fassbender
Thank you for making this amazing video davies.
PPI/DPI is a meaningless number in 99% of all cases. Why you mentioned it here, I dunno…
Great stuff! I seldom come across a photo that doesn't need other helps first, but I will certainly come back to this when I do!
How can gimp be used to edit landscape painting elements for better composition. Move elements around, or draw in new elements, etc. I saw it done on photoshop, but wanted a simpler software.
I downloaded Gimp mainly because I want to colorize family black and white photos. I had used "Picture it" before, but I cannot use that anymore. I have watched several tutorials from other people on how to colorize, but I think they are using older versions, and I have 2.10.8. I am totally lost. Nothing works out for me. Do you have any videos on colorizing black and white photos.
HOW I WISH U CAN START ANOTHER SERIES ON BLENDER EDITOR. UR SIMPLY THE BEST TUTOR
How can you ulpoad the picture in the best quality? Eks Instagram?
Can you stack multiple photos in the case of light painting at night, with Gimp?
I found it was useful to open one of my photos and edit it step by step with the video.
You obviously know what you are doing. If you could go slower, it would be great, as I don't know what you know and can't listen and write or do while you are speaking.
I do have a question for you: Do you actually use GIMP for work or only tutorials?
Lovely video thank you Mike for your work
I have watched a number of your videos so thank you for doing them! I am trying to figure out how to take an image and simply change the center point. When editing a 360 photo I do not want the canvas to change. Let's say the sun is right in the middle of the image but I want the sun to on the far left edge so that it will be positioned correctly when I replace the sky in a 360 drone pano. I am using the latest GIMP on PC and MAC and I can not get anything to snap to the canvas. I first selected a section of the image essentially creating a "slice line". I then moved what was the slice line to the outside edge of the of the image/canvas. I then moved the other half of the photo to the other side and reversed the layer horizontally so that the end points match perfectly. But I can't get the images to snap to the outside canvas border. It seems there should be a very easy way to change the center point of an image by "sliding" the image within the canvas. Any help will be greatly appreciated!
This was great. Can you make a video on how to export the center picture of a photo but leaving the framing then importing another picture? I can't find it anywhere on youtube.
Nice outcome; but, oh so many steps.
bruh… Can you do a tutorial on fixing a droopy eye or altering facial features?
Thank-you for truly helpful and insightful info on Gimp! Awesome!
This tutorial is so useful
Thanks for the video…!
PLEASE.. can you show me how to wrap an image over another image ?? I can't find a youtube that shows in the 2.10 version, the 2.8 is a bit different .. & thanku for this vid also
Layers? When I use layers to enlarge and work one a face in a group, the layers no longer line up when reduced back to original size….to go back to the composite picture. Final picture is a mash of the separate layers and therefore unusable.
I like the books on your table 😀 Thank you very much for all your tutorials.
Very, very useful and informative. Thanks!
I like it, thanks for that 👌
Do you have anything on frequency separation and smoothening of skin? Dodge and burn etc
But is this a raw first procesed on darktable or you just edit jpg?
I am confused becouse when i try work with raw in gimp photo first go to darktable and then when i close it they go to gimp.
But in your video you immediatelly open photo in gimp?!!
Dude, your tutorials help me so, so much! Wow, thank you for all the effort you are putting into your videos! I really like that you are a very clear speaker and that you take your time to explain the function of your adjustments. So yeah, thank you!
I was wondering one thing: why didn't you use the highpassfilter for the sharpening? I always thought, that would be the professional option, as over sharpening is not possible with highpass, but again I am a beginner to foto editing. Let me know your thoughts and keep up the wonderful work!
